Funky Bokeh Patterns

Playing around with my 17-55/2.8, I noticed these interesting patterns appearing inside the bokeh. A quick google didn't tell me much, its either imperfections in the ground glass of the lens, or dust somewhere in/on the lens itself. No idea which

1Addicts/E90Post Cruise to Wisemans Ferry

To kick it off, i'll throw up some photos from the recent (end of last month) 1Addicts/E90Post cruise to Wisemans Ferry. An awesome day of twisty roads and fast cars, and thankfully, not much rain!

The photos start off at Wisemans Ferry RSL Club, where we stopped for lunch. Got a few friendly comments about the cars, which was nice. I guess they remember us from the last few times we've been up this way
'Christine' - 125i

Obligatory Group shot (that fails, because not everyone is in it...)

More Christine

Not Christine (check the wheels), but still good lookin'

After lunch we found a back paddock to take some proper shots in. Some of the guys decided to try their hand at drifting, and ended up facing the way they came in a cloud of grass. Some of the tamer shots..
125i. Check out the angle on those wheels :D
 A few more rolling shots...

Jeffs 135i, looking smug sitting in the tall grass

And the photo that made the front page of BimmerPost :D

More group shots..

I'm oddly very happy with this shot, it could possibly be one of the best ones that i've taken so far..

After that, time for the fun bit. We loaded up onto the ferries to cross the Hawksbury, and went for a blast along the river

Were held up behind these two trucks for a loooong time. Thats what happens when you roll a Patrol...

Rain started up as we headed towards Old Pac

Made for some nice driving shots though

And yes, we did make the front page of BimmerPost :)

Hello
